Backed in lifes....

Hello, long time didnt come up liao. Having just finished my first Progress Test yesterday. Now is having a "short holiday" of four days, as next class shall be on next Monday. Anyway, let's take a look at what the exams had "offered"...

F5: Performance Management --- Had been the worst paper that I had ever had...It had used to be my most favourite branch of accounting (FYI, this is under cost and management accounting) since CAT level and I had doing quite well for those papers when compared to Financial accounting or Taxation. But then now at here, with the lausy cost accounting lecturing teams; it had proved that something NEED to be done on our own (literally means BUY BOOKS and read YOURSELF!) if we wish to had a pass in December exam! The first time that I had a question that it knows me, but I dont know "him" (Literally means I didnt understand at all what the question wanted from us as candidiate, what the...).

F4: Corporate and Business Law --- Still ok i think in a sense that still being able to write sufficient (though NOT ALL) answers for most of the questions. But the trouble is that I didnt remembered much legal phases and cases laws, making my script more generalised; didnt look like a LAW paper. Anyway, just see this approach is acceptable or not lo, lolz. I just dont know how to remember the whole book that is full of legal facts!

F6: Taxation (M) --- still nice enough, i think the chance to pass is higher then the other two. But still this is a legal paper also in a sense that the content are laid down according to governemnt policies. Thus, bulk of contents also due to come despite it had already been a lot.

By the way, next Monday is the result release date for June session, which means it is almost time to enrol for December session exams liao; and guess what, as the past, the exams fees shoot up again, and this round is a freaking 6 pound in one go per paper. Three papers exam fees in MYR would amount to MORE than MYR1000!

Air Asia is having their "BIG SALES" this week, NOT that big enough as advertised as SOME of the routes are still expensive then the "FREE SEATS" promos in the past. Nevertheless, I still like their fares to Taipei, FREAKING CHEAP! LESS THAN MYR300 you can get a return ticket to Taipei per pax!

Malaysia Airlines on the other hand had good news also: Enrich Miles accural rules had been changed, and the new rule had enable passengers with the membership to be able to accrue the mile more easily. Now, with the exception of MHLow fare band under domestic routes, ALL other fares bands will be QUALIFY for Enrich accural. YEAH! At least it is more affordable to accurue the mileages for free flight. You now only need to pay the minimum of MHBasic fare under domestic routes in order to get 50% Enrich miles, not like before where you need to pay MHSmart fare only this shall be possible. International routes are even more FUN, MHLow will be QUALIFY for Enrich miles also with 30% mileage, YEAH! Cheers for MAS!

I had applied the membership last Feb, at throughout this half year, I already booked seven MAS tickets at MHLow; thus implying that my mileages still stand at the 1000 welcome miles level. If I didnt buy a qualifying fares within 2 to 3 years time from Feb 2009, the membership shall be deemed dormant and being void by then. So, I am now quite happy to hear this, XD:)=

The haze and water crisis in Borneo looks like more and more serious only, the haze even had affected the turboprop services, looks like it is real deal now for Sabahan and Sarawakian to "fight" against such situations. NO WATER is terrible, hope the water supply there is still sustainable!

On the other hand, Taiwan now is really having a bad time --- 50 years worst floods swept over the southern coast of Taiwan, turning the island into a "sea" with terrific chaos...Hope everything is fine soon. I think Borneo people might think: If marakot typhoon spare 1% of the rains to Borneo, it would be far more than enough already....Peep:)=

H1N1 in Malaysia is getting more out of control, more and more death cases related to it either directly or indirectly had been revealed this few days...Maybe the real deal of fighting against the virus had just came to SEA region....Our's nations fatalities figures even outrun Singapore's one, which stood at 9. Anyway, nothing much can be done except to keep our personal hygience to the MAX.

I will be most likely flying back to MYY for merdeka holidays for 48 hours only. Will review the situation two weeks later to see how it goes, but no matter what; most likely i will just go back, perhaps.

And the other day I had just booked a ticket with Air Asia for a flight in Oct back to MYY, the first time to bound with AK since thier incorporation 8 years ago. Hope that they wouldnt give me a "surprised" chaos that turned me down...

Guess that's all for the time being.

Bye for now!
