FINALS…

Don’t be mislead…I meant for Final Exams…with few more days ahead only for the 1st papers…now having FULL gear for revision…feel like exhausted & headache…but what to do…with lots of things yet to be remember…have to practice for calculations…what’s worse is more laws are required to be remembered for the exams…just pray that I can secured this three papers with one attempt only…AT LEAST no need to re-sit…it would be fairy nice already…!
By 11 of June, then I can start to ENJOY my holidays…after this half a month tortures…!
Better to have some fun by then, perhaps by watching some more drama after <<“Bull fight”>>. Haha! And when the time reached then, it would be only one more month left before me & my family bound for KL for a 9 days vacation…Thanks to MAS 0 fairs that offering free tickets…only paid for miscellaneous taxes…I believe starting next months until the year end of this year…many people is going to flying here and there as ours’ country two major airliners operators are “fighting” hard to get people into their cabin…wahaha!
That’s all, bye for now.

FW: What makes Chinese-CHINESE?

Please check the list to see how Chinese you or your friends really are:
There are 29 ways to know if you're Chinese. You will laugh at yourself when you read all of them.

1. You unwrap gifts very carefully, so you can save and reuse the wrapping
(and especially those ribbons).

2. When there is a sale on toilet paper, you buy 100 rolls and store them in your
closet or in the bedroom of an adult child who has move out.

3. You keep a Thermos of hot water available at all times.

4. You save grocery bags, tin foil, and tin containers. You use the grocery bags to
hold garbage.

5. You hate to waste food:
(a) Even if you're totally full, if someone says they're going to throw away the
leftovers on the table, you'll finish them.
(Your mom will give a lecture about starving kids in Africa ).
(b) You have Tupperware in your fridge with three bites of rice or one leftover
chicken wing.

6. You don't own any real Tupperware- only a cupboard full of used but carefully
rinsed margarine tubs, take out containers, and jam jars.

7. You have a collection of miniature shampoo bottles that you take every time you
stay in a hotel.

8. You wipe your plate and utensils or wash them in a small basin of hot water
before you eat every time you go to a restaurant.

9 . You own a rice cooker and a slow cooker

10. You wash your rice at least 2-3 times before cooking it.

11. You fight (literally) over who pays the dinner bill.

12. You have a teacup with a cover on it.

13. If you're under age 20, you own a really expensive walkman if you're over 20,
you own a really expensive camera.

14. You're a wok user.

15. You only make long distance calls after 7pm.

16. You prefer your shrimp with the heads and legs still attached-it,means they're
fresh.

17. You never call your parents just to say, ' Hi. '

18. If you don't live at home, when your parents call, they'll ask if you've eaten,
even if it's midnight.

19. Your parents tell you to boil herbs and stay indoors when you get sick. They
also tell you not to eat fried foods or baked foods because such food are
'heaty' (yeet hey in Cantonese).

20. You e-mail your Chinese friends at work, even though you only sit 10 feet apart.

21. You always cook too much.

22. You eat every last grain of rice in your bowl, but don't eat the last piece of
food on the table.

23. You starve yourself before going to ' All You Can Eat ' buffet.

24. You know someone who can get you a good deal on jewelry or electronics &
computers.

25 . You own your own meat cleaver and sharpen it.

26. Your toothpaste tubes are all squeezed paper-thin.

27. You call a sausage a hotdog.

28. You wrap with napkins all the knives, spoons and forks of the airline that you
fly on and put in your travel-bag as souvenirs

29. You never forget to take with you all the unused bath and facial tissues when
you check out from the hotel because you believe that you have paid its all.

Now that you have read the lot, are they mostly true? Will you take this message and forward it to all your Chinese friends, because you will always be proud that you're indeed a great Chinese...

All in one… Again!

Here are the pictures for the Marina Bay:

1. The “red red” sky on that day evening.

2. The scene in the restaurant.

3. The scene of the restaurant’s corridor.

4. The seahorse statue.

The post for today:
First thing: Sichuan earthquake. Now, our (or my) prediction is really true. Ours’ mother nature is trying to give a sign of “warning” to us by “giving” various disasters. This quake does make a huge disaster. After 4 days, rescue works still on the ways and the conditions seems critical. Lets’ pray that everything will end as soon as possible.
Next, the low price rivalry between MAS & Air Asia had come to a new level. Our transport minister had said that he is going to “campur tangan” in order to investigate the claim made by Air Asia CEO: MAS on offer because it had obtained subsidy from the government. To me, I don’t really bother what are the reasons behind & how the two “big brother” in Malaysian aviation are going to deal with the matter; I just hope that the “low price policies” will be continued as a regular offer programme. With that, the consumers can have a choice between the two with much more attractive & comparable prices. May the promises given by MAS will be kept (The “Every day Lower Fare” promotions will be done on regular intervals thereafter 19/5/2008.). And Air Asia continued to be the low cost carriers in Malaysia. Lets’ pray and cheers for more cheaper airfares for Malaysian!
Today is teacher day. Just wish to have a greeting to all teachers.
Fourthly, the “person” that I mentioned in earlier post finally messaged me after so long long long time…to said a “thanks” for my birthday present to her in next month…+ a reply on my claim that “I thought you will never reply my messages”. Quite happy…haha…!
Yesterday had three classes again for the 2nd time. So tired. Luckily not much more lecturing already. 2 classes are doing revisions for the upcoming examination in two weeks ++ time. Really need to work hard to pass the 3 papers that I had enrolled. Hope that everything can go smoothly & I can secure “pass” for all of them…
Before ending, shown on the above are a few snapshots on Marina Bay when I went there about one month ago. Enjoy! That’s all for now. Bye!

Various & miscellaneous / “Rojak”

Long time not see liao. It had been almost 2 weeks since last post. There are ample of things to share about. First of all, my Paper 4 lesson for today is being cancelled again! What the…! It had been three sessions of cancellation without any replacement classes being raised up by the lecturer. Don’t know how she is going to deal with it! As far as I am concerned, I will only care about that she is able to finish the syllabus content (about 6 more chapters to go) before the June examination session, which is less than one month from now. Another issue is that I am the only one who registered for this Paper in my lecture class for this upcoming exam. So, no matter what condition; the syllabus should be finished! As for the other two papers, all the lecturing sessions had been “officially” closed on last & this week. Implying that is time for revisions, wakaka! Time to “squeeze” every single useful information into the “computer”. Really need to do some practice questions. Don’t repeat the same thing as last semester lo!
Next one, let’s talk about the happiest thing in this “half-century”: namely, MAS Sales program, which is being named “Everyday Low Fares”. The airline had prepared a million free tickets for all nationwide routes to be booked by Malaysian. Having “dreamed” to “fly” outside Borneo Island can now become true. My family had booked and secured four tickets (round trip) to KL in mid July. Departing journey will stop at Kuching for about 45 minutes before continuing to KL. By the time when reaching there, it should be about 9.40p.m. As for the return, we shall heading back directly from KL after 2.25 hours of flight. Cheers! However, as it is still “far” ahead, just take the time to think of where to go…ample of choices had been popped up in our minds this few days. To be finalised later time la! Now, more important thing is still: CAT exams! What a nightmare! Is really hard! (I meant in terms of moods to prepare and facing the exams as it only occur half a year, with NO MOCK exams at all from my college; simple full sets of lectures class & a few revision class only.)
By the way, I do message my friend who stayed in Singapore now to ask her about what transportation would be the best if I want to go to Singapore from KL. She told me to took buses, which takes about 5 hours time. I really don’t want it! So long! However, she said that taking train will costs higher & no direct services being provided. Don’t know la! See later how it goes!
Next one is the sad thing. My grandmother had passed away on Labour Day holiday due to illness. So, I need to help up with household thing and went for the funeral last Saturday. In the evening, went for a “blessed dinner”.
The 4th one, let talk about Mother Nature. The weather nowadays seem really going “hair-weird”. Locally, it had been quite hot for long period already. Rains only occasionally fall. Other places experiencing the same also. Myanmar event faced with “hurricane” that results in lots of casualties and other humanitarian problems.
Recently the delivery service in my area seem getting less frequent than ever before. (In short, postman seems to have “disappeared” for a lot time; and “appeared” again.)
Next is the new Astro “Gold card” is going to be in effective in the near future. The trouble is that my household one haven’t received yet. Some other new subscribers already received and changed it already. Just wait and see how it goes. Will need to chase after the card if we can’t get it on the time specified.
Finally before ending, about my possible future sake: ACCA qualification. I had got the rely mail from Sunway University College & L&P Consultant Services. If want to opt for January 2009 intake, really need to “give / show” them the confident of can get the CAT certificate by February 2009 when the result for December 2008 examination result is out. Anyway, I will pay a visit to that institution during my trip to KL. That is for sure!
That’s all for the time being. Bye for now!
