Well, in accordance to my expectation; the government had officially decided to call off this issue in stages beginning the calendar year of 2012...eveything shall turn backwards to the old system as it was 6 years ago...Primary schools having mother languages as medium of instruction while secondary schools shall be using the national languages -- Bahasa Malaysia. As for Pre-U studies, they retained it to be in English.
But then what makes me sounds weird is that why should Primary four and Form 4 being involved in the re-transformation process as if this take place, they shall being making a "U turn" half way of the learning process, would they be able to cope with the chances? I doubt it.
Anyhow, since this is the decision; everyone should follows also. As over the years, not much people supported the ideas, majority concerning primary schools kids...in which they didnt know so much about English yet...and we as adults are expecting them to learn new fields in a language which is new to them...it is quite a burden...given the facts that what we are "feeding" them today...in my own opnion, this is really too much...
But then, for secondary; they also decided to revert it back to the olden days style, using Malay to deliver the two subjects concerned. Well, to someone out there maybe very astonishing as reported in papers this two days...but me personally doesnt....it does fall under my "genius guess"...
Just hope that this is the last major changes in our education system...I dont think we can afford to change so much...really time consuming and "money burning" also...
Anyway, the suggestion of making a complusory pass in SPM English do really counts...at least it shall force students to get a pass...just see what's the decision from the relevant authority when time due....
