After a long awaiting periods; finally here it comes: Air Asia had officially announced that they will be flying Miri-Singapore route beginning 9th September 2009 with a weekly frequencies of 4; namely Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The introductory fares will be RM 59 all inclusive (OF COURSE, this is WITHOUT add-ons).
Apart, they will also be doing Tawau-Singapore direct flight; do visit Air Asia webpage for more details; my focus is on MYY-SIN sector.
Local diaries had described it as a "Big event" for Mirians as most Mirian had been awaiting this for quite a long time from "ages ago", until the authority had given green light last year. But then Mirian still need to wait for another year to turn their wish into reality.
