MPH is another franchised bookstores only available in Peninsular Malaysia. It features mostly the best English Publications from overseas. I did visited 2 outlets & “see” 1 outlet while I am at KL. The locations are: One Utama, Mid Valley Mega Mall & Sunway Pyramid.
I did saw the CAT publications that I want, but “sadly” I didn’t buy it at the 1st place. In the end, just came back with some Chinese publications only. I also don’t know why I did buy it. May be thinking of to find it at Popular outlets to enjoy 10% discount (but don’t have, only got a few CIMA books).
The prices there are reasonable as they just convert the exchange rates only. They sold the books at RM 84 & RM 112 with the selling price of marked ₤ 12 (CAT) & ₤ 16 (ACCA) on the books respectively, which is a reasonable pricing.
As for their Chinese departments, not so attractive as they do need the “help” from Popular as Popular is the “Big Brother” that distribute Chinese publications locally (So as the Japanese owned bookstores at Suria KLCC, but the price are higher).
In conclusion, if you need English publications, go there to find it at better prices while the Suria KLCC one has more collections (is really like a library), but just ready to pay more!
