KL trip 16: Shopping…

Like any other big cities, KL is definitely an ideal places for shopping. Ample of big & mega malls available for you to choose from so that you can spend your time there. The branded names are for instance: Mid Valley Mega Malls, Sogo, The Malls, IOI Mall, and etc.
As for hypermarkets, don’t forget to take a look at the following four names: Tesco, Sogo, Jusco & Carrerfour. Personally, I like to shop at Tesco more as they had their very own branded products, which are made available to the public at lower prices when compared to established names. For instance, isotonic soft drinks just for MYR 1.59, Pocket tissues for MYR 1.05, & other hyper values.
Sogo KL is ideal for the public to spend their free time as almost the whole building is fully occupied (& possibly owned) by Sogo. For those who wish to hunt for casual wears, may be it is a perfect place. But as for me, I only manage to buy some bargains wears but no any single ones at other casual wears floors.
Jusco & Carrerfour to me are just an ordinary hypermarket that is available anywhere. Prices for the goods seem a little bit higher. But overall is still nice.
And mind you, those malls are really BIG in terms of sizes regardless of locations, particularly Mid Valley Mega Mall. You need a quarter hour for you to “move” from one end to the other. It’s not an easy task! My brother is kidding that they shouldn’t name it “Mega” but instead “Tera” Mall, as it is really huge! Hahaha…
Today marked the 1st weekend when we were backed at Miri. This morning went out to buy some grocery. Maybe the “BIG” effect hasn’t get rid yet, we shopped like a lighting. Everything was done under 2 hours & a bit more only.
Before ending, just to describe what had came across my mind the other day. People staying in central Peninsular really can enjoy a nice shopping environment with vast choices of malls. I thought that you could take a “turn” one, this week go one place; next week another. I guess we can “rotate” it almost for 10 weeks. (In short: it meant that you would only visit one mall once every 10 weeks as there are too many malls waiting for you to “rotate”!)
That’s all, bye for now!
