Kuching trip...

As mentioned before, the tickets for this trip were being bought during MAS second weekend special promotion. As a result, I managed to get a return tickets for only MYR 78, which is definitely VERY VERY worthwhile.

The outbound chosen was at 1420, but then at 1000; we receive a call stating that the flight was being called off, probably due to some faulty on the aircraft system.
They then arrange for my father and I to be on board of the evening flight, which is the same time slot as that was chosen for my KL outbound last year. The 1 hour flight was good, with pleasant taking off and landing. But then the pilot seems flying at a slightly low altitudes...

As the time upon arrival was night already, nothing much can be done other than having dinner and check in for hotel. Yap, booked tunehotel online in advance; but then sadly, the price that we got seems is of a little bit high...

The hotel is really no frills, what you have is simply a queen size beds, a toilet roll and shower. Any other things that you wish to use will be all payable. And believe it or not, due to the fact that it was new; there were NO TV and laundry services being made available (although customers expect that it is chargeable)...It is as typical as those available at Genting Highlands, with the primary aim being sleeping only...but then Genting one still got TV as complementary...this one you cant find a TV at all...

Went straight to Sunway College Kuching the next day morning. The marketing manager gave a brief introduction on course on enquiry and some other miscellaneous issues...As an overall impression, the environment there is much more peaceful that those in KL...looks more "Sarawakian", hehe...

Anyway, the lecturing time is not that good; most of the courses well be taught at night...which is not that charming as the hostel are opposite of a BIG BIG roads (literally means a wide roads, which have at least six lanes in totals). The one exactly behind the college (which is normal household) is hard to book according to that manager as the places being made available in those household is limited...well, well, well, with this particular point, the evaluation is really hard...

After that, went off for shopping. Go for The Spring & Boulevard Kuching on the daytime while go for Riverside shopping mall on the night time. The next day went for Tun Jugah with my secondary classmate who had moved back to Kuching since late 2001...have chat at coffee house. But then, Tun Jugah is not an ideal shopping complex, you can buy much from there (which means the range of products available are not much)...

Afternoon before bound for KIA, went around a satellite town in Kuching...then heading straight to KIA for inbound...The inbound started boarding quite fast (I mean the turnaround time is quite short)...The plane started to left KIA at 4.30 sharp...again, the flying team is good; but then the weather at central Sarawak is not that good during cruising time...windy day with plane shaking a little...the pilot had choose to fly high up for this one hour...touch down about 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled time.

With that, here is the snapshots of the trip; tough is only a few...:

That's all, bye bye!
